Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) shut down Monday, October 31, 2022 all entrances to the village of Husan, to the west of the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem, isolating it from nearby villages.
Mohammad Sabateen, the head of the Husan village council stated that the Israeli forces closed all the entrances to the village with an iron gate, blocks and earth mounds and isolated it from Battir, Nahaleen and Wad Fukeen Palestinian villages.
He noted that this prevented students from reaching their universities as well as employees, workers and farmers from reaching their workplaces.
