Israeli occupation forces IOF on early Sunday, June 26, detained a number of Palestinians after launching a large-scale arrest campaign in the occupied West Bank cities of Tulkarm, Jenin, Nablus, Al-Khalil, and Salfit.
According to local sources, the Israeli forces raided the occupied West Bank city of Tulkarm and arrested 3 Palestinians after searching their houses. Three other Palestinians were arrested in Al-Khalil, including an ex-detainee.
Local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces detained 4 Palestinians from their car before confiscating it at an Israeli checkpoint in Far’a camp in the occupied Jenin.
Early Sunday, the Israeli occupation forces broke into Nablus and arrested 6 Palestinian citizens after searching and turning their houses upside down. Local sources reported one of the detainees, Mutasim Musleh, is scheduled to celebrate his wedding in two days.
In a related incident, the Israeli forces raided the house of the Slain Palestinian Ali Harb who was stabbed to death by an Israeli settler in Salfit, and arrested his uncle. During their raids, the IOF fired stun grenades and live bullets. Moreover, the Israeli forces assaulted relatives and family members of martyr Harb.
Israel occupied the West Bank illegally in 1967. Over the years, the Israeli forces have been carrying out widespread raids across the West Bank, attacking Palestinians and kidnapping them.
