DaysofPal– Four Palestinians were killed, and otherswere injured early Tuesday by Israeli occupation forces, as field violations continued across the Gaza Strip through direct shootings, the targeting of civilians, and intensified ground and aerial escalation in multiple areas. The incidents took place on the 108th day of the ceasefire agreement.
A medical source reported that four Palestinians were killed and three others wounded by Israeli fire near Al-Batsh Cemetery in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City. The victims were identified as Mahmoud Ahmed Lulu, Abdel Qader Abu Khader, Abdel Karim Ghabbayn, and Yousef Al-Rifi.
On Monday, three more Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces in separate incidents across the Gaza Strip, according to local sources.
These ongoing violations are occurring in the absence of any effective mechanisms to enforce compliance with the ceasefire agreement. Human rights groups have warned that the continued killings, shelling, and destruction are undermining the agreement and reinforcing a policy of impunity at the expense of civilian lives.
Since the ceasefire came into effect, Israeli forces have killed 504 Palestinians and injured 1,331 others as a result of repeated violations.
The ceasefire had brought an end to a genocidal war that began on October 8, 2023, and lasted for two years. The assault resulted in the killing of more than 71,000 Palestinians and the injury of over 171,000 others, alongside widespread destruction that damaged nearly 90 percent of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure. The United Nations has estimated reconstruction costs at approximately $70 billion.
