The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnapped 25 Palestinians in military raids in the occupied West Bank, on Tuesday morning.
In a joint statement, the Commission of Detainees’ Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner Society stated that the raids targeted Jenin, Ramallah, Nablus, Hebron, and different areas across the occupied territories.
“The arrests were marked by attacks on homes and threats against families of the detainees,” the statement added.
The latest arrests brought the total number of Palestinians abducted by the Israeli military in the West Bank since October 2023 to 10,900, including those who were released after being arrested, according to Palestinian figures.
The figure does not include those arrested from the Gaza Strip, whose numbers are estimated to be in thousands.
Palestinian towns and villages in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem have seen increased IOF near-daily military raids and violations in recent months, which escalated with the beginning of the war on Gaza on Oct. 7, 2023.
At least 716 Palestinians have since been killed and over 5,750 others injured by Israeli gunfire in the West Bank, according to the Health Ministry.
