Israeli occupation forces issued on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, a stop-work order for construction in 8 Palestinian homes in the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah.
Local sources reported that Israeli forces entered the town and delivered stop-work notifications to 7 residents, including Abdul-Mun’im Asfour, Fadl Asfour, Shakib Asfour, Ayyad Asfour, Osama Mousalma, and Sami Mousalma.
The same sources added that Khalid Khalil received a notification to halt renovations in his home, noting that settlers had previously set fire to the house in 2013.
In a related context, settlers prevented the town’s residents from cultivating their lands and attempted to attack them.
