The largest number of detentions took place in the occupied city of Jerusalem followed by Hebron, Bethlehem and Jenin, according to Commission of Detainees’ Affairs.
The commission added that Israeli forces have escalated violations and arbitrary actions such as field executions, and implementation of more organized detentions.
The occupation authority has recently released 272 orderes of administrative detention, including 143 new ones, in addition to 129 renewal orders
There were roughly 4,650 Palestinian prisoners in the occupation’s jails at the end of August, including 32 female prisoners, about 180 minors, and 743 administrative detainees, which include 2 female prisoners and four children.
