In the Negev region of the “48- occupied Palestinian territories”, the Israeli occupation demolished Al-Araqib village Monday, July 17, 2023, for the 219th time.
This demolition took place despite the residents’ suffering from the sharp rise in temperatures.
Aziz Al-Touri, a member of the local committee defending Al-Araqib, stated that Israeli forces stormed the village and demolished its homes for the 219th time.
The Israeli authorities destroyed the village’s houses, which are made of wood, plastic, and tin, most recently at the end of June.
The first demolition operation targeting the village took place in July 2010.
Approximately 22 Palestinian families live in Al-Araqib. Each time, the residents rebuild the village, the Israeli occupation forces demolish it.
