Israeli occupation forces seized on Monday, August 14, 2023, a vehicle belonging to a disabled Palestinian citizen while he was passing through the military checkpoint of Jabaa, north of occupied Jerusalem.
The owner of the vehicle, Shadi Draghma (32 years old) from Qalandia refugee camp, stated that Israeli soldiers stopped him at the military checkpoint while he was returning from the city of Jericho.
Despite his disability, they forced him to exit the vehicle. He further added that the occupation forces detained him for several hours, treated him in a brutal manner, scrutinized his personal identification, and then confiscated his specially designed vehicle for people with disabilities.
Draghma is a former prisoner who spent two years in Israeli detention and was released in 2016.
