Israeli occupation forces Compelled Sunday, 22 January 2023 a Jerusalemite resident to self-demolish his house in the occupied Jerusalem neighborhood of the Ras al-Amoud.
Local media sources reported that Israeli military forces Compelled the Palestinian man Fadi Radaideh to self-demolish his 150-square-meter house under the pretext of building without a permit.
Radaideh was preparing his house which was built 4 years ago to start his married life but Israeli occupation forces forced him to demolish it under the pretext of building without a permit. Therefore, he was forced to postpone his wedding which was scheduled for next May.
Palestinian towns and villages in the occupied Jerusalem have seen increased demolition orders by Israeli forces, aiming to force the Palestinian residents to leave their own lands under the pretext of building without a permit.
In 2022, Israeli occupation forces forcibly demolished more than 209 inhabited Palestinain facilities in various areas of occuiped Jerusalem. Israeli occupation also confiscated a number of Palestinian-owned lands and properties in favor of Israeli settlers’ expansion most notably the land of Hamra in the Silwan neighborhood.
