Israeli occupation forces attacked Palestinian protesters near the Gaza border and injured dozens on Friday, February 24, 2023.
Palestinian local sources said that dozens suffered breathing problems due to tear gas canisters fired by Israeli occupation forces in the eastern areas of the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian ministry of health announced that two Palestinians were shot and injured by Israeli live bullets, one in serious condition.
Palestinian youths gathered near the Gaza border to protest the Israeli recent crimes, in which Israeli forces killed 11 Palestinians.
The Israeli occupation forces, stationed near the Gaza border, quelled the protests, firing live bullets and tear gas canisters.
Ahead of the protests, Israeli occupation forces opened fire and tear gas canisters on Palestinian farmers and shepherds east of Deir Al-Balah and Khan Younis. No injuries were reported.
