Israeli occupation bulldozers began demolishing a Palestinian house and a number of facilities in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem on Wednesday morning, June 22.
Local sources reported Israeli occupation forces seized the house of the Palestinian prisoner Barakat Khawaja and started demolishing it under the pretext of construction without permit In Na’lin, west of Ramallah. Moreover, the Israeli forces seized the area surrounding the house and prevented the Palestinian citizens of accessing.
Prisoner Barakat was detained in January 24, 2022, and he was sentenced to administrative detention for 6 months. Barakat had spent 9 years inside the Israeli prisons before his last arrest.
In a related incident, Israeli bulldozers demolished a horse barn in Issawiya town, east of Jerusalem. Moreover, the Israeli bulldozers demolished a tire shop in Anata.
Since the start of 2022, Israeli occupation authorities demolished at least 300 Palestinian-owned buildings in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
