Fourteen medics have been killed in the past two days due to Israeli airstrikes throughout Lebanon, according to a statement from the Lebanese Health Ministry.
The ministry reported that “Israeli occupation forces have intensified their attacks on paramedics and healthcare facilities in recent days, resulting in the deaths of fourteen paramedics.”
The Ministry of Public Health has strongly condemned these repeated assaults, asserting that they violate international laws and norms, particularly the Geneva Convention, which mandates the protection of healthcare facilities and workers to ensure they can fulfill their humanitarian responsibilities.
In its statement, the ministry questioned, “Does Israel want blood to flow without stopping? Where is the international community and its responsibility to put an end to this escalating genocide?”
