Israeli airstrikes targeted an ambulance on Friday November 3rd, at the entrance of Al Shifa Medical Complex. The ambulance was en route to transporting wounded individuals to the Rafah border crossing.
Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported the direct targeting of the ambulance at the entrance of the Shifa Medical Complex resulted in several injuries and casualties.
In a statement, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Health in Gaza said, “We informed the International Red Cross of the evacuation of the wounded, but the Zionist occupation deliberately targeted them.”
After 28 days of Israeli aggression 9,376 Palestinians have been killed and 24,920 injured. The rapid escalation of Israeli violence in Gaza highlights the need for international intervention and calls for a ceasefire.
