Israeli occupation forces IOF decided on Tuesday evening, March 28, 2023, to demolish a Palestinian detainee’s home in Nablus, north of the occupied West Bank.
Palestinian media sources reported that Israeli forces notified the family of the Palestinian prisoner Osama Al-Taweel, 22, to demolish their home in occupied Nablus.
The sources pointed out that Israeli forces warned the family that they have five days to submit an appeal rejecting the decision.
Israeli occupation authorities accused 22-year-old Osama Al-Taweel of killing an Israeli soldier in November 2022.
Israel has a long history of demolishing the homes of detained and murdered Palestinians as part of the collective punishment policy.
Under International law, collective punishment is forbidden as no person may be punished for acts that he or she did not commit.
