Israel Kills Four Palestinian Family Members, Including Two Children, in West Bank

DaysofPal – Israeli forces shot and killed four members of the same Palestinian family early Sunday after opening fire on a vehicle in the town of Tammun, north of the occupied West Bank. The victims included a father, a mother, and their two young children, according to Palestinian health officials.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health identified the victims as Ali Khaled Sayel Bani Ouda, 37; his wife, Waad Othman Aql Bani Ouda, 35; and their children, Mohammad Bani Ouda, 7, and Othman Bani Ouda, 5. Medical reports said the victims suffered gunshot wounds to the head and face. Local sources noted that one of the children had special needs.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society confirmed that its crews received the bodies of four victims from inside the vehicle after Israeli forces fired on it. The organization said its paramedics were initially prevented from reaching the scene despite reports of injuries.

Local reports state that Israeli special forces entered Tammun prior to the arrival of military reinforcements via adjacent checkpoints. Soldiers then opened fire on the car, killing the four family members. Red Crescent teams later received two children from the scene who were initially believed to be injured, though a preliminary examination showed they had not been wounded.

Paramedics said Israeli occupation forces first blocked their access to the vehicle and ordered them to leave the area, even though there were indications that injured people remained inside. Access was granted later, and the crews recovered the four bodies from the car.

Following a raid on their Tammun home, Israeli occupation forces detained Mahmoud Hassan Bani Ouda and his son, Hassan Mahmoud Bani Ouda.

Raids across several West Bank towns

Israeli forces also carried out raids in several locations across the northern West Bank. Troops entered the towns of Qabatiya and Al-Yamun in the Jenin Governorate, searching homes and damaging property. Local sources reported that a young man in Al-Yamun was detained briefly and subjected to field interrogation.

Another raid targeted Beit Furik, where Israeli troops fired stun grenades and tear gas without reports of arrests or injuries.

In Salfit Governorate, soldiers entered the area known as Wadi al-Shaer between Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya and the city of Salfit, setting up a military checkpoint and launching illumination flares near a recently established settler outpost. Residents say the area has witnessed repeated settler incursions, particularly near Al-Zaytouna University and nearby villages.

In the southern West Bank, a 36-year-old Palestinian was shot in the leg by Israeli forces in the town of Tarqumiyah, west of Hebron. Security and medical sources said the man, a resident of Beit Ula, was hit with live ammunition near the separation barrier built on Palestinian land. He was transferred to a Red Crescent hospital in Hebron, where doctors described his condition as moderate.

Another incident occurred at the Beit Iksa Checkpoint, northwest of Jerusalem. Israeli forces shot Ahmed Khalil Sader Saleh, 43, near the checkpoint. The nature of his injuries was not immediately clear. Witnesses said soldiers also assaulted his 20-year-old son, Khalil Ahmed Saleh, during the incident.
