Another fatal massacre unfolded in Khan Yunis as Israeli occupation army bombarded displaced Palestinians’ tents near Al-Mutannabi School in Abassan al-Kabira, July 9th, 2024.
Gaza’s government media office announced that at least 29 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed in the Israeli airstrike on displaced Palestinians’ tents in Khan Yunis.
“The latest massacre comes after the occupation’s army attacked six other displacement camps in the central areas, raising the total death toll to at least 60 in the past few hours,” the office stated.
20 Palestinians killed were identified and dozens were seriously injured so far.
At evening, Israeli forces also launched an attack on the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, killing at least nine people, including five children, according to local sources.
Israeli bombs targeted a gathering of civilians near the Abu Rasas roundabout in the camp while being in the public market.
The documented Palestinian death toll has risen to 38,103 martyrs and 88,060 injuries since October 7, 2023.
The figures solely refer to the cases transported to hospitals and registered in the records of the Ministry of Health.
Yet, an unknown number of victims are still unaccounted for or missing under the rubble, as ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them due to Israeli military attacks.
