The Israeli Prison Administration decided to punish Palestinian detainees at Negev Israeli prisoners by prohibiting the delivery of winter clothes for six consecutive months, the Palestinian Prisoners Media Office disclosed Tuesday, September 19.
According to the Prisoners Media Office, the Israeli Prison Administration’s decision against the Palestinian detainees is part of a broader systematic attack against them by the current far-right Israeli government and extremist minster Itamar Ben Gvir.
It confirmed that the prisoners in the Negev prison decided to return meals and close the sections tomorrow, Tuesday, as a preliminary reaction to the measures undertaken by the prison administration, which significantly impact their fundamental living conditions.

Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli occupation prisons continue to face a series of escalating and aggressive measures and decisions implemented by the prison administration and the extremist Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir.
In response to these measures, the Palestinian prisoners’ national movement has taken several incremental steps in their struggle to counteract these measures.
The Wa’ed Association for Prisoners warned that the Israeli occupation assistance and escalating its attacks against the Palestinian prisoners may explode the situation inside the prisons.
It held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for the consequences of its extremist decisions that flagrantly violated the international law and human rights standards.
The association called on the Palestinian people to widely act in solidarity with the Palestinian prisoners and in condemnation of the ongoing Israeli crimes against them.
