DaysofPal- British journalist and writer Owen Jones stated that “Israel” has been carrying out brutal torture on Palestinian prisoners to the point of death, noting that the Israeli occupation authorities did not bother to hide these violations because they are confident that Western media would ignore the crime.
Jones told British media outlets: that “Israel” practiced sadistic torture against Palestinian detainees.
He added that the silence of Western media institutions regarding these violations constitutes moral complicity, contributing to the continued commission of crimes against Palestinians without accountability.
Jones pointed out that the Western media’s disregard for these issues is not merely a professional failure but forms part of a strategy to conceal violations and silence the victims’ voices.
Owen Jones is known for his progressive and critical positions, particularly on social issues and human rights.
He is a prominent voice in the British labor movement and has repeatedly condemned the Israeli policies and crimes in Gaza.
