Israeli occupation forces (IOF) wounded 8 Palestinian citizens in an Israeli military incursion into the Aqabat Jaber refugee camp in the occupied West Bank city of Jericho, Thursday, May 25, 2023.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that 8 citizens have been injured in the lower limbs, including a critical injury to the main artery.
Israeli forces stormed the camp, raided and searched 60 Palestinian houses, and held a Palestinian old man and his grandson, Palestinian sources said.
Consequently, confrontations broke out between the Palestinian citizens and Israeli occupation forces.
The sources reported that IOF imposed a blockade on the camp and closed all its entrances, preventing Palestinians from entering or leaving it.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society stated that the Israeli soldiers prevented medical crews from entering the camp to treat the injured Palestinians.
