Israeli occupation forces IOF transferred on Wednesday, October 5, the Palestinian cancer-stricken prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid from Assaf Harofeh Hospital back to Al-Ramlah prison clinic, the Palestinian Ministry of Detainee and Ex-Detainees reported.
In a press statement, the ministry said that the Israeli occupation authorities held Abu Hamid in the Al-Ramlah prison clinic despite his serious health condition as he suffers acute inflammation of his lungs.
The so-called Ramlah Prison clinic consists of four rooms only where a small number of sick prisoners are transferred to. The clinic lacks the most basic health services, necessary medicines, and specialized doctors.
At least 600 Palestinian sick prisoners are currently incarcerated in Israeli prisons as the Israeli occupation practices deliberate medical negligence against them, in a flagrant violation of International law.
