Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) issued Sunday, March 26, 2023 a decision to seize Palestinian-owned lands in the villages of Jinsafut, Al-Funduq, and Hajjah, east of occupied Qalqilya Governorate.
The Director in the Wall and Settlement Commission, Amir Dawood, said that the Israeli government issued a decision to seize 218 dunums of Palestinian-owned lands from Jinsafut, the hotel and Hajjah, for military purposes.
Similar to previous decisions, Dawood pointed out that this decision is valid till the end of 2027, and that it is being renewable.
It is noteworthy that Israeli settlers have seized thousands of agricultural dunums in various parts of the occupied West Bank for years, and have established a number of settlements on mountains.
Recent statistics indicate that there are about 666,000 Israeli settlers, 145 large Israeli settlements, and 140 random unlicensed outposts in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
