Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) suppressed Saturday, July 15, 2023, a Palestinian rally against home demolitions in the town of Silwan, south of occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources reported that a support stand was organized in front of the house of the Palestinian citizen Nidal Al-Rajabi in the Al-Bustan neighborhood in Silwan, who just received a self-demolition order from Israeli authorities.
Sources added that participants in the rally performed the Asr prayer in front of the house before the occupation forces suppressed them by firing rubber-coated metal bullets and stun grenades directly at them.
Israeli occupation forces IOF have demolished 136 Palestinian homes and structures since the start of 2023, according to the Palestinian Information Center Moata.
