Days of Palestine – Ramallah
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) violently crackdown on Friday the peaceful Palestinian demonstrations against the expansion of illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank.
At least 128 Palestinians were injured during the clashes erupted after IOF violently crackdown the demonstrations, according to local sources.
The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), Michelle Bachelet, presented the same Friday a report in which she denounced a significant increase in the use of live ammunition by Israeli forces and an intensification of violence by settlers against Palestinians in the West Bank.
“The human rights situation in the occupied Palestinian territory deteriorated further during the reporting period, between November 1, 2020, and October 31, 2021,” the report indicated.
Meanwhile, Hamas Movement has condemned the brutal killing of Palestinians by the IOF in the West Bank and called on Palestinians living in the area to start a new Intifada against the Israeli brutality.
The occupied West Bank is the scene of ongoing protests by Palestinians against the expansion of illegal Israeli settlements. Many Palestinian protesters have been killed and dozens injured at the hands of occupation forces during clashes in recent months.
