Israeli occupation bulldozers razed several dunums of Palestinian lands in the occupied West Bank city of Salfit on Wednesday morning, April 5, 2023.

Palestinian local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces razed about 10 dunums of land in Yasuf village in favor of settlement expansion.

Abdullah Kamil, governor of Salfit, said that this violation is ‘part of the ongoing Israeli aggression and terrorism’ against the Palestinian people and their land.

Kamil affirmed that the Israeli violations increase the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and their adherence to their land, as well as their determination to confront the occupation and its racist policies.

Palestinian families in Yasuf village face systematic attacks by Israeli settlers and forces, targeting their homes and lands.

A recent UN report indicated that the number of Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank had grown from 520,000 to over 700,000 from 2012 to 2022.

The report added that 3,372 violent incidents by settlers were verified during the past decade, which resulted in the injury of 1,222 Palestinians.
