Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) raided early Tuesday morning, November 22, 2022 and searched the residence of the Palestinian Authority’s Jerusalem governor, Adnan Ghaith, in Silwan neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem.
An Israeli court ruled on August 4 to place Ghaith under open-ended house arrest without specifying a time limit for this.
Palestinian governor was detained 35 times since he was named as a governor by the Palestinian Authority in August 2018.
He has been also banned from attending meetings or getting in touch with Palestinian officials, as well as from traveling abroad or leaving Jerusalem to the West Bank.
