Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) killed Wednesday evening, January 25, 2023 thePalestinian child Muhammad Ali (17) after shooting him in the chest in Shuafat refugee camp, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources stated that IOF detained the body of the boy, Muhammad Ali, after he was transferred to Hadassah Hospital in occupied Jerusalem, and refused to hand him over to his family. The martyr appeared accompanied by dozens of young Palestinian men, while confronting the incursion of the camp of Shufat by the Israeli occupation forces.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed that a young Palestinian man was injured with live bullets in the shoulder, in addition to dozens of suffocation with tear gas inhalation during violent clashes in the camp in conjuction with the demolition of the house of the Palestinian martyr Uday al-Tamimi in the neighboring town of Anata.
A videotape showed how the occupation soldiers assaulted the martyr Muhammad Ali after he was injured, as they tore his clothes before Palestinian citizens managed to transfer him to the Anata Medical Center as Israeli soldiers assaulted the paramedics too.
Today, the number of martyrs rises to two as the Ministry of Health announced earlier that the young man Aref Abdel Nasser Lahlouh (20 years) from Jenin camp was shot dead by the Israeli occupation near the village of Jit, east of Qalqilya, that his body is still being held.
It’s noteworthy that these provocative acts come amid the escalating atmosphere, especially after the formation of the new Israeli Government as daily violations against Palestinian citizens, deliberate detentions, house demolitions and mandatory deportation policy are doubled and multiplied in a way to suffocate and complicate Palestinians’ lives.
