Israeli occupation forces killed two Palestinian youths during their violent attack on Palestinian citizens in a military raid on Jenin camp today, Thursday, January 19, 2022.
According to Local Palestinian sources, the Israeli occupation forces murdered two Palestinian citizens, Adham Muhammad Bassem Jabareen, 27, and Jawad Fouad Hussein Bawaqna, 58, during their military raid on the Jenin camp.
The national and Islamic forces Commission in Jenin announced a comprehensive strike in the city today, Thursday, January 19, in mourning for the two martyrs.
The Israeli occupation forces suddenly stormed the Jenin camp, as usual, and forcibly took advantage of the Palestinian houses and buildings overlooking the camp, and deployed Israeli snipers on the roofs of a number of them.
Local Palestinian sources reported that after the occupation forces stormed the camp, violent confrontations erupted between the Palestinian youths and the occupation forces, who fired bullets, stun grenades and gas bombs at them, killing two citizens and injuring others.
The same sources added that the occupation forces prevented ambulance crews from entering Jenin camp to provide treatment to and transfer the injured to the hospital.
In response, a large number of Palestinian participated march in front of Ibn Sina Hospital, in which the participants carried the bodies of the two martyrs, Jabarin and Bawaqna, and roamed the streets of Jenin and its camp. The Palestinians chanted slogans condemning the crimes of the occupation, and demanded international protection for the Palestinian people.
