Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained Wednesday, February 8, 2022, a Palestinian journalist from the village of Beit Iksa, northwest of occupied Jerusalem.
According to local Palestinian sources, the Israeli occupation forces detained Palestine TV journalist Ahmed Hababa, while he was passing through an Israeli military checkpoint near the village.
The occupation forces also detained a number of Palestinians throughout the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.
In a related development, Israeli forces raided several Palestinian homes and wreaked havoc on them in the occupied West Bank cities of Ramallah and Jenin, according to local sources.
The Palestinian ministry of health announced that IOF injured two Palestinians, including one in serious condition, during an assault in Nablus.
It is worth noting that the Israeli occupation forces launch daily campaigns of raids and arrests against Palestinians throughout the West Bank.
According to Palestinian figures, Israeli occupation holds currently 4,700 Palestinians, including 29 female prisoners, and 150 minors.
