Israeli occupation forces IOF have detained 5,300 Palestinians, including 111 women, and 620 children so far in 2022, according to figures by the Palestinian Prisoners Club.
In a statement, the Prisoner Club said that IOF detained 5300 Palestinians, issuing 1610 administrative detention orders.
The Prisoner Club indicated that the highest rate of arrest was reported in Jerusalem as the Israeli forces detained about 2353 Palestinians, the statement added.
Moreover, PPC stressed that the arrests, accompanied by field executions, were the highest compared to the past few years.
Moreover, the Prisoner’s Club indicated that the occupation forces deliberately wreaked havoc on the largest number of the homes of detainees and their families, which caused considerable material losses.
The figures revealed that the highest rate of administrative detention orders was monitored in August as 272 orders were issued.
4650 Palestinians, including 32 women and 180 children, in addition to 743 administrative detainees are currently held in Israeli prisons.
