IOF Detain 30 Palestinian Citizens in West Bank, Jerusalem

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched Tuesday, February 21, 2023, a massive campaign of arrests against Palestinian citizens across the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.

According to Palestinian prisoners institutions, the Israeli forces detained about 30 Palestinian citizens from villages, towns, and camps throughout the West Bank and Jerusalem.

They detained 15 citizens from Al-Fawar camp, south of Hebron, who are Abdul Majeed Abu Toaima, Sayyaf Abu Toaima, Abdel Walid Abu Awad, Ibrahim Abu Awad, Jawad Hudeib, Mohammad Al-Titi, Suhaib Al-Khatib, Uday Issa, Jihad Yaghi, Talaat Al-Fayoumi, Youssef Al-Hasanat, Hassan Ghatashah, Hossam Ghatashah, Mohammad Ramzy Abu Rabi`, and Mohammad Al-Fayoumi.

In Bethlehem, the occupation forces also detained the boy Taher Murad Malash, Mahmoud Ismail Salah, and Abdul Rahman Khaled Salah.

The ex-detainee Omar Al-Bayan and Bashar Qasrawi were also detained, and a vehicle was confiscated, as the Israeli forces stormed the city of Jenin, which led to the outbreak of confrontations with the Palestinian residents.

In Nablus, the forces detained Yassin Sabah from the village of Orif and confiscated his vehicle.

They also detained Abdullah Al-Hinnawi and Hashem Abu Obeid from Aqabat Jabr camp in Jericho.

The IOF detained the Palestinian Activist Hamdi Diab from the Shuafat refugee camp, east of occupied Jerusalem.
