The Commission of Detainees’ Affairs announced Saturday, April 8, 2023, that Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) have detained 15 Palestinian worshipers, following the latest Israeli attack on the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The commission stated that there are 15 Palestinian worshipers still detained from the Al-Aqsa Mosque, including children and a woman, and that the Israeli occupation has extended their illegal detention until tomorrow.
Since the beginning of Ramadan, Israeli forces have stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque daily following the Al-Tarawih prayer to suppress Palestinian worshipers and ignite a religious war in the region through the so-called Jewish Passover holiday.
Moreover, Israeli colonial settlers backed by the Israeli occupation forces repeatedly invade Muslims’ holy places in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem in a flagrant violation of all international conventions and laws, guaranteeing Palestinian people’s right to worship in their sacred places.
Meanwhile, Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem continue their calls to mobilize at Al-Aqsa to confront the Israeli incursions, which increased during the holy month of Ramadan.
