Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) continued Tuesday, April 2023, to impose restrictions by setting up military checkpoints at the entrances to the occupied city of Jericho, from several sides, for the fourth day in a row.
Local sources stated that the occupation forces continued to close 4 main entrances leading to the occupied city of Jericho, as well as a number of secondary roads, in addition to going after Palestinian-owned vehicles and searching their contents.
It’s noteworthy that the northern entrance, the yellow gate near the Al-Karama crossing and the southern entrance near Aqabat Jabr witness a heavy presence of the occupation forces and traffic jams.
Tensions have escalated between Palestinian citizens and Israeli occupation forces amid intensified Israeli deadly military raids in occupied Palestinian territories, the latest was on the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
