DaysofPal- Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) bombed a UN-run school in Gaza City that was sheltering displaced Palestinians amid an intensifying wave of strikes and bombardment on homes and residential buildings in the city, displacing hundreds of thousands of civilians.
The ongoing Israeli bombing and massacres against civilians in the city aim at displacing the people and forcing them to leave for the south, which the residents believe is a journey of death, as they have no transportation, no shelters, and no food or water, and they do not even have the cost of transportation.
The Israeli bombing left the school, a multi-story residential building in Gaza City, completely destroyed.
The strikes are part of an escalating Israeli military campaign targeting Gaza City, which was declared by the Israeli forces as part of a military campaign that includes air raids on high-rise buildings.
UNRWA schools and other facilities have repeatedly been used as shelters for families displaced by the war, but these sites have been struck multiple times during the Israeli war, often resulting in heavy civilian casualties.
The number of casualties from this latest strike on the school has not yet been confirmed. Previous attacks on similar facilities, however, have killed dozens of civilians, including many children.
Despite ongoing Israeli bombardment and evacuation orders, most families remain trapped in Gaza City, citing the lack of safe areas, overcrowded shelters in the south, and fears of permanent displacement from their homes.
Human rights organizations warn that by targeting schools, camps, and humanitarian centers, the Israeli occupation is deliberately tightening the noose on displaced civilians, forcing them into repeated displacement or pushing them to leave the Gaza Strip entirely.
The Israeli catastrophic policy is a systematic collective expulsion in violation of international law and human rights conventions.
