Israeli occupation forces (IOF) blocked the governor of Jerusalem, Adnan Ghaith, from traveling to Saudi Arabia via Jordan and handed him a summons to later appear before Israeli intelligence.
Israeli occupation detained Ghaith and his aide, Marouf al-Rifai, at the Karama crossing for several hours before informing them that they were not allowed to travel and handed Ghaith a summons to appear before Israeli intelligence.
Al-Rifai said that Ghaith and he were on their way to Saudi Arabia to participate in the Arab Cities Conference to represent the State of Palestine, which is scheduled to be held on the 22 and 23 of this month.
He added that the Israeli occupation detained Ghaith at Al-Karama Crossing for 4 hours, then released him after handing him a summons for investigation.
It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation is still imposing restrictions on Ghaith, including a ban from entering the West Bank and contacting Palestinian 51 officials.
