Israeli occupation forces on Monday morning, September 26, attacked and to pushed to the ground an elderly Palestinian man at Bab Al-Selsela near Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Local sources reported that Israeli forces attacked the Palestinian Khair Al-Shimy, causing him a head injury.

The sources added that Al-Shimy was transferred to a Jerusalem hospital for treatment as he was injured in the head.
Since the early hours of Monday, Israeli forces have attacked Palestinian men, women, elderly, and journalists at the courtyards and entrances of occupied Jerusalem, paving a way for Jewish settlers to invade the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Israeli forces detained at least seven Palestinians at Al-Aqsa Mosque and injured at least two Palestinians, coinciding with the settlers’ incursions into Al-Aqsa.
