In a statement on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of initiation, the Islamic Resistance movement of Hamas demanded the United Nations as well as the international community to achieve justice for the Palestinian people and their just cause.
Hamas called for supporting the Palestinian people’s right to end the Israeli occupation, self-determination, and establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
Hamas asked to stop the double standards approach the international community adopts towards occupied Palestine, including siding with the Israeli occupation against the legitimate rights of our Palestinian people.
The movement held a huge festival in the Gaza Strip on December 14, attended by hundreds of thousands of Palestinians which appeared to be a referendum on the right of resisting the Israeli occupation.
Hamas movement reaffirmed adherence to the general Palestinian constants, including the liberation of Palestinian prisoners and the liberation of the historic Palestine with Jerusalem as its capital as well as the right of return for refugees.
