DaysofPal- The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) called on Tuesday for large-scale global protests and solidarity actions in response to the ongoing Israeli military campaign in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement obtained by Safa News Agency, Hamas appealed to people of conscience and free voices across the Arab and Islamic worlds, as well as internationally, to take to the streets in mass demonstrations and protest marches against the continued aggression and genocide targeting Palestinians in Gaza.
The Movement said the ongoing escalation of air raids and bombardment by the fascist Israeli occupation government, including the destruction of civilian homes and displacement shelters, underscores a deliberate policy of systematic killing and further deepens the already dire humanitarian situation in the besieged enclave.
Hamas also accused the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of persistently violating the ceasefire agreement, failing to honor commitments made to mediators, ignoring international law, and openly breaching humanitarian norms and principles.
It called on the coming days, particularly Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, to serve as focal points for sustained and expanding global mobilization, aimed at expressing worldwide rejection of the Israeli occupation, the assault, and the Israeli acts of genocide against Gaza’s population.
The Movement further emphasized the importance of intensifying popular pressure on the Israeli government to immediately halt military operations, comply with the ceasefire, reopen border crossings, allow humanitarian aid into Gaza, and initiate reconstruction efforts in the territory.
