A senior Hamas source told Al Jazeera that a top delegation from the group survived an Israeli airstrike that targeted their meeting site in the Qatari capital, Doha.
The delegation, led by senior Hamas figure Dr. Khalil Al-Hayya, was reportedly meeting to discuss a recent proposal on the Gaza war introduced by former U.S. President Donald Trump when the strike occurred.
According to the source, all members of the delegation survived the attack. No details were provided regarding possible injuries or additional casualties.
