DaysofPal- The Hamas Movement has expressed concern over the escalating war in the region, condemning the “American–Zionist aggression” against the Islamic Republic of Iran and warning of its potential consequences for regional and global stability.
In a press statement issued on 14 March 2026, Hamas said the attacks constitute a violation of international law and international humanitarian law and could further destabilize the region if the conflict continues to expand.
The Movement called on all states and international organizations to act immediately to halt the war, stressing that the interests of the region and the broader Islamic world lie in preventing further escalation.
Hamas also voiced appreciation for diplomatic efforts undertaken by various countries aimed at preventing the outbreak of a wider war and promoting dialogue and diplomacy as alternatives to military confrontation.
At the same time, the Movement stated that Iran has the right to respond to the attacks “by all available means” in accordance with international norms and laws. However, it urged Iranian authorities not to target neighboring countries and called on regional states to cooperate to contain the conflict and maintain stability.
