DaysofPal- The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that seven Palestinians were killed and 18 others injured in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours as a result of ongoing Israeli attacks. Among the fatalities was one body recovered from beneath the rubble.
In its latest statistical report, the ministry stated that the total number of people killed since the ceasefire declared on October 10 has reached 817, with 2,296 others injured. The number of recovered bodies during the same period has risen to 762.
Cumulative figures since the start of the war on October 7, 2023, have climbed sharply, with 72,593 people killed and 172,399 wounded, according to the ministry.
The report also noted that a number of victims remain trapped under debris or lying in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews continue to face severe difficulties reaching them.
These incidents occur alongside ongoing breaches of the ceasefire agreement, with Israeli forces continuing military operations throughout the enclave.
Local sources said Israeli occupation forces carried out demolitions of homes and structures in the al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
On Sunday, the Israeli military expanded the so-called “yellow zone” in southern Gaza City. Witnesses reported that yellow markers were placed along Salah al-Din Street, stretching from the Wadi Gaza area to the Kuwait Roundabout.
They added that Israeli military vehicles advanced into the area under heavy gunfire, resulting in the deaths of two Palestinians. A third person was killed in the village of al-Maghraqa, south of Gaza City.
