DaysofPal— The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported on Monday that at least 9 people were killed and over 20 others injured over the past 24 hours in fresh Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
Israeli occupation forces bombed a group of people in the north of Gaza City early morning, killing 2 civilians and injuring 5 others.
The Ministry of Health said the casualties were transferred to hospitals across the enclave amid continued strikes and deteriorating humanitarian conditions.
The ministry also noted an increase in deaths caused by collapsing buildings, with the total rising to 29 after another individual succumbed to injuries in recent hours.
Since the ceasefire declared on October 11, a total of 725 people have been killed and 1,990 others injured, according to official figures.
The report added that 759 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble during the same period.
The cumulative toll from the Israeli genocidal war since October 7, 2023, has reached 72,302 victims and 172,090 injured, the ministry stated.
It added that an unknown number of victims remain trapped beneath debris or lying in the streets, as emergency and civil defense teams are unable to reach them due to ongoing attacks and limited resources.
The continued rise in casualties highlights the severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where medical facilities are under immense strain and rescue operations remain hindered.
Authorities warn that the true number of victims may be significantly higher, as many remain unaccounted for amid widespread destruction.
