Four people were killed on Saturday, 9 September 2023 and 30 others were injured amid armed clashes in the Ain al-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp, south of Lebanon.
Sama News Agency reported that the violent clashes between armed groups at the Ain Al-Hilweh refugee camp in south Lebanon claimed the lives of 4 people and injured 30 others.

Paramedics and relief teams were spread among the displaced Palestinian refugees. sources noted that the number of displaced refugees reached 1,200 on Thursday.
Cautious calm prevailed in the Ain al-Hilweh camp following armed clashes renewed today after a calmness that lasted about a month following bloody confrontations between armed groups.
By the end of last July, 14 people were killed in the clashes including the commander of the National Security Forces in the camp Abu Ashraf Al-Armoushi along with 4 of his companions.

Ain al-Hilweh camp, the largest in Lebanon for Palestinian refugees, was established in 1948. The camp includes about 50,000 registered refugees, according to the United Nations, while unofficial estimates indicate that its population exceeds 70,000.
