Days of Palestine – Hebron
Four Palestinian citizens were injured Saturday evening by settlers in the town of Surf, northwest of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank.
According to local sources, the four citizens were shot and wounded by “Bayt Ein” settlers in the Al-Qurayneh area near the town of Surif and were taken to a hospital for treatment.
The settlers’ attacks, the sources said, took place under the protection of occupying forces, who were present and provided cover.
Dozens of citizens from the Quraynein, Safa, Tuwaiq, and Wad Abad areas rushed to rescue the inhabitants of Surif, who had called them to repel the settler attacks, which led to confrontations with the occupation forces that fired poison gas bombs at them.
On Friday and Saturday, various areas in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem are witnessing marches condemning settlement activities and rejecting the policies of occupation for our people.
