DaysofPal- Israeli airstrikes and gunfire killed four Palestinians and injured at least two more in eastern Khan Younis and Gaza City, marking yet another violation of the ceasefire by Israeli forces.
Local sources confirmed that Ala Mazen Abu Rida (20) and Ahmed Abdel Rahim Sahmoud were killed in an Israeli airstrike that hit near a home in the Armidah area of Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Younis. A third person was wounded in the same attack.
Meanwhile, in Gaza City, Mahmoud Wael Al-Rifi was shot and killed by Israeli snipers positioned east of the city, specifically in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood. Another civilian was reportedly injured due to Israeli artillery shelling in the Al-Shuja’iyya area of eastern Gaza.
These incidents occurred as Israeli forces resumed military operations despite the declared ceasefire. Since dawn, Israeli warplanes have launched multiple airstrikes across eastern Khan Younis, accompanied by heavy artillery fire. In southern Gaza, Rafah was also struck by Israeli helicopters during simultaneous raids. Additionally, several residential buildings were demolished in eastern Gaza City.
Since the truce was signed on October 10, Israeli violations have led to 340 deaths and 871 injuries. This truce had temporarily paused a deadly war launched by Israel on October 7, 2023, which lasted two years and resulted in nearly 70,000 fatalities, 171,000 injuries, and the near-total destruction of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure—an estimated 90% damage.
