Israeli occupation forces continue to besiege Shufat Refugee Camp and Anata town in occupied Jerusalem, closing the camp’s main military checkpoint and attacking Palestinian families.
Earlier Sunday, The Israeli occupation forces closed the entrances to the town of Anata, Shuafat refugee camp, and Dahiyat al-Salam area, preventing Palestinians, including workers, patients, and students, from moving.
In addition, the Palestinian Red Crescent Association reported on Sunday that the Israeli forces prevented ambulances from entering Shufat and Anata town.
On Sunday night, Israeli forces brutally attacked a Palestinian driver at Anata military checkpoint and caused him bruises. He was transferred to treatment as a result.
Meanwhile, the Israeli forces broke into a mosque and several Palestinian houses in Shufat and Anata, attacking Palestinian families with tear gas canisters.
On Saturday night, an Israeli soldier was reportedly killed and two others injured during an armed clash in Shufat camp, occupied Jerusalem.
