Friends of Al-Aqsa organization (FoA) has strongly condemned on Thursday, October 6, 2022, the proposal of the British Prime Minister Liz Truss to relocate British embassy from Tel-Aviv to Jerusalem
“Israel is an apartheid state whose ongoing occupation of Palestinian land is a flagrant violation of international law.” Stated the UK based organization.
Therefore, “a move of the British Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem would send a clear message of British support for the violation of international law,” it concluded.
This came as Liz Truss said on September 22, while meeting on the sideline with Israeli Occupation PM Yair Lapid at the UN General Assembly in New York, that she is considering relocating the British embassy from Tel-Aviv to Jerusalem.
