The UK-based Friends of Al-Aqsa (FOA) on Tuesday 19 April 2022 condemned the Israeli occupation warplanes bombing site in the Gaza Strip and called to take action for Palestine.
“Israel’s bombing of Gaza last night follows weeks of intensified violence against Palestinians, including 4 attacks on the sacred Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in just 5 days,” said Ismail Patel, the Chair of FOA.
“This violence represents the sheer brutality of Israel’s illegal occupation and apartheid in Palestine, which has continued for 74 years now,” Patel added.
“We call on our politicians to impose immediate sanctions on Israel. We must all speak up and take action for Palestine,” he concluded.
Israeli occupation warplanes early today bombed a site in the city of Khan Younis, in the south of the Gaza Strip, causing severe damage to it and nearby properties. No casualties were reported.
