The families of the Palestinian martyrs, whose bodies are captured by the Israeli occupation, organized Monday, May 8, 2023, a sit-in in front of the Red Cross in Al-Bireh to demand the release of the martyr Khader Adnan’s body and other martyrs’.
The Palestinian martyrs’ families confirmed their insistence on the release of their son’ bodies that the Israeli occupation is still holding until now, which is a clear violation of international humanitarian law and norms.
It’s reported that the Israeli occupation has been holding the bodies of 133 Palestinian martyrs, including 12 kids, 12 detainees, and a woman, since 2015.
Among the martyrs whose bodies are held are 18 martyrs from Jerusalem and 27 from the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli occupation has also detained more than 253 Palestinian martyrs in graves of numbers and unknown locations for years.
