The European Union and the United Nations expressed shock at the Israeli occupation killing of a Palestinian woman in the occupied Palestinian city of Bethlehem on Sunday 10 April 2022.
“Horrified by the killing of a Palestinian woman by ISF near Bethlehem. Our deepest condolences to her family,” said the EU in a tweet.
“Such excessive use of lethal force against an unarmed civilian is unacceptable. This incidence must be swiftly investigated and the perpetrators be brought to justice,” it added.

Meanwhile, United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Tor Wennesland, said in a tweet “Shocked & disturbed by the killing of an apparently unarmed Palestinian woman by Israeli security forces in Husan/Bethlehem, in circumstances that seem to indicate she posed no imminent threat. My deepest condolences to her family.”
“Such acts must be thoroughly investigated,” Wennesland added.

Israeli occupation forces on 10 April 2022 shot dead a Palestinian woman while she was crossing an Israeli checkpoint near the village of Husan, west of Bethlehem.
Ghada Ibrahim Al-Sabatin, 45, is a mother of 6 kids. She is a widow as her husband was killed before by IOF. The Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that the woman arrived at Beit Jala Governmental Hospital, and she suffers from a cut in the leg artery and lost a large amount of blood.
