Extremist Israeli settlers, protected by the Israeli occupation forces, stormed the sacred Al-Aqsa Mosque via the Al-Magharba Gate on Wednesday morning.
Dozens of Israeli settlers reportedly stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, holding tours and engaging in Talmudic rituals in the Bab al-Rahma zone, as reported by the Islamic Waqf Department.
Israeli occupation forces are still impeding Muslim worshippers from entering, by checking IDs and detaining some people at the border crossing.
Palestinians of Jerusalem have increased their calls to protect and visit Al-Aqsa Mosque, given the threats facing it as a result of the tactics employed by the Israeli occupation forces and Israeli settlers and their intent to Judaize it.
The Al-Aqsa Mosque is subject to frequent incursions by Israeli settlers, with the backing of the Israeli occupation forces, on a daily basis except for Fridays and Saturdays. These efforts are aimed at gaining control of the Mosque as well as dividing it temporally and spatially.
